Why This Work

Returning to what matters most

Stress to Rest began with discovering:

Many of us aren't exhausted because we're incapable.

We're exhausted because we've spent years carrying weights we were never meant to carry.

The pressure to achieve.

The pressure to perform.

The pressure to have all the answers.

The pressure to become someone we've forgotten we were never created to be.

I know that story because I have lived it.

Hi, I'm Sheena.

I've spent my career helping people navigate change—leading teams, developing learning experiences, solving complex problems, and helping people move forward when life and work feel overwhelming.

Over time, I realized that whether someone was navigating burnout, a career transition, leadership, or personal growth, the deeper question was almost always the same:

What helps people become who they were created to be?

Stress to Rest grew from my own journey of discovering that transformation isn't about striving harder—it's about returning to what matters most.

Through Stress to Rest, I'm exploring the intersection of faith, neuroscience, leadership, personal growth, and purposeful living—and inviting others to explore it with me.

Helping people rediscover the life they were created to live.

What We Believe

The values that guide everything we do.

Rest is productive.

Some of our greatest clarity comes when we stop striving long enough to listen.

Identity comes before strategy.

Who we become shapes everything we build.

Alignment creates momentum.

When our values, gifts, and purpose begin working together, life becomes lighter and more meaningful.

Small shifts create lasting transformation.

Meaningful change happens one faithful step at a time.
